VOORHEESVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A local school district held a public forum after lead was found in some water sources at the elementary school.
The Voorheesville Central School District invited people to Voorheesville Elementary School on Monday to discuss what’s being done to fix the problem.
Last week, three faucets tested positive for the dangerous metal. All three have been shut off. The district has also put water coolers around the school and is looking into blood testing.
