Frozen meat salesman accused of trespassing, having his license suspended 18 times

BRUNSWICK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Police say a man selling meat has been accused of trespassing, lying about his birthday and having a suspended license.

State Police in Brunswick say they arrested 33-year-old Scott Evanchof of Smithville Flats for Trespassing, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree, and Criminal Impersonation 2nd Degree Saturday afternoon.

Troopers received a report of a trespasser at a home in Brunswick, who was trying to sell the home owner frozen meat.

Troopers got there and located Evanchof who ID’ed himself using a fake birthday.

He later admitted to lying about that and a background check revealed that his license was suspended 18 times on 12 different dates.

He was taken into custody and processed at the Brunswick barracks.

Evanchof was arraigned in the Town of Brunswick Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail on $2,500 bail.
