SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The New York Giants will always remember Plaxico Burress for his game-winning touchdown catch in Super Bowl XLII.
His score helped seal one of the greatest upsets in league history, as the G-Men took down the unbeaten New England Patriots.
But that was over eight years ago.
On Sunday afternoon, Burress was in the Capital Region, hosting a Giants viewing party at Saratoga Stadium in the Spa City.
Plax signed autographs for fans and took in the game with them as well.
On Sunday, we asked him, who he thinks is better, him in his hayday or current Giants wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr.
His answer may surprise you.
“I was better in my prime because Odell, he’s not in his prime yet, but he’s a special talent,” He said. “I think we all see that. We all recognize that, and by the time he leaves, he’ll probably be one of the greatest receivers to ever play.”
