CAROGA LAKE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A man was arrested on Thursday for allegedly threatening to cut his mother’s throat while his 11-year-old son was in the immediate area.
Adam Hallenbeck, 36, was arrested at his residence around 10 p.m.
Police say Hallenbeck grabbed a knife during a domestic dispute and threatened to cut his mother’s throat.
He was using vulgar language and reportedly pushed the mother down.
His son, 11, was in the immediate area.
Hallenbeck was charged with menacing, endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Fulton County Correctional Facility.
He is scheduled to appear back at the Town of Caroga Court at a later date.
