ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Albany Police are currently investigating a shooting that left a man hospitalized Friday night.
Police say officers responded Friday at approximately 11:45 p.m. to the report of a shooting in the area of First Street and Lexington Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the torso.
Police say the victim was treated at the scene by medical personnel and then transported to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting is still under investigation.
