TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say a man was arrested on Monday for allegedly stealing from Goodwill and being in possession of drugs.
State Police in Brunswick say they were called to the Goodwill on Hoosick St. for a report of a shoplifter who fled the store. 21-year-old Nicholas Norman of Missouri was located in the Walmart parking lot nearby and admitted to stealing pants.
Norman was taken into custody and also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and dried mushrooms.
Norman was processed at the Brunswick barracks and arraigned in the Town of Brunswick Court. He was released and is to reappear in court at a later date.
He’s facing charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.
