WATERVLIET, N.Y. (NEWS10) – What a better way to quench your thirst on a hot day than with a glass of lemonade.
Some kids in Watervliet were thinking the same thing. So they decided to sell some, all for a good cause.
“We’re selling lemonade for hospice because they took care of our great grandmother.”
Austin and Amelia Grant were so grateful to Community Hospice for their care, they decided to pay it forward.
The kids braved the intense heat and humidity by opening at 10 a.m.
Their goal was to raise about $50, but thanks to their efforts at least $150 will be going to hospice.
They’ll be open for another couple of hours at 23 23 Avenue in Watervliet.
