Duanesburg man accused of holding woman down, threatening to stab her with pencil

DUANESBURG, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say a man is being charged for allegedly holding a woman down on a bed and threatening to stab her with a pencil.

Officials say on August 6 State Police were dispatched to a domestic dispute in Duanesburg.

After a brief investigation police say 31-year-old Joshua Oldorff held his victim on her bed blocking the bedroom doorway, pushed her and threatened to stab her with a pencil.

Responding Troopers found Oldorff standing in the backyard and immediately took him into custody.

He was transported to SP Princetown for processing where he was charged with Unlawful Imprisonment, Criminal Possession of a weapon with intent to use, Harassment, Unlawful Possession of marijuana and Menacing.

He was released and will reappear in court on a later date.
