ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles announced it arrested 65 people during summer concerts across the state.
Investigators from the DMV’s Division of Field Investigation teamed up with local law enforcement agencies to conduct sweeps at the Brad Paisley concert at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, and the Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa show at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC).
The sweeps were conducted on Thursday, August 4 and Sunday, August 7.
The DMV says police confiscated dozens of fraudulent identity documents during the sweeps.
In June, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the state would ensure that the state’s youth remain safe and well-protected during the summer concert season.
