Fund set up for Great Sacandaga drowning victim’s rescue efforts

EDINBURG, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A fund has been setup to help pay for the search and rescue of 18-year-old drowning victim Sean Craig.

The search for Craig began Saturday night and was later suspended and picked up Sunday morning.

Craig was found by divers after someone noticed his boat floating near a dock, empty.

Calling hours are scheduled for Thursday morning at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Hagaman. His funeral will take place right after.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Sean Craig Memorial Fund (P.O. Box 424, Tribes Hill, NY 12177).
