Police: West Sand Lake man arrested for $283,000 in damages to equipment

SAND LAKE, N.Y. (NEWS10) –  A West Sand Lake man has been arrested by state police for causing thousands of dollars in damage to construction equipment.

After a nine month investigation, police say Brandon Salisbury caused $283,000 in damage to a large piece of construction equipment that was on the property of Bonded Concrete/Troy Sand and Gravel in Sand Lake.

Salisbury was charged with two felonies, one count of Grand Larceny in the 2nd and one count of Criminal Mischief in the 2nd.

He was also arraigned in the Town of Sand Lake Court and remanded to Rensselaer County Jail pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for Monday.
