Men sentenced each to 5 years in prison after Lark Street robbery

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Authorities say two men have been sentenced to five years in prison for robbing a home on Lark Street in Albany.

Officials say 20-year-old Omar Rogers and 21-year-old Quron Tallie, both of Albany, were given the above sentence to be followed by 5 years post release supervision.

On May 25 both men pleaded guilty to one Count of Robbery in the Second Degree, a Felony.

On May 6 just before 11 p.m. Rogers and Tallie admit to entering a residence in the area of Lark Street. While inside, they stole two cell phones, cigarettes, and money from another individual.

Albany City Police officers responded to the incident following a 911 call, and arrested them nearby the scene of the incident following a short foot chase.
