SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say a man from Schenectady had a 10-year-old girl hide his drugs before he was arrested.
Authorities say 28-year-old Ernesto Villar Jr. of Parkwood Blvd. is accused of possession of cocaine, heroin and a loaded semi-automatic gun. Among those charges, he’s facing an endangering the welfare of a child charge for allegedly giving the girl drugs to hold on to.
According to officials Villar gave the girl a plastic bag that tested positive for narcotics. She told authorities that Villar told her to put the bag of drugs under her clothes.
Villar is being held without bail in Schenectady County Jail. He faces three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, both third degree felonies.
