SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A man accused of forcing his way into an apartment and sexually assaulting an elderly woman in February has pleaded not guilty.
David Sinkler, 22, was arraigned in court Thursday morning on a 15 count indictment. Some of those counts include a 1st degree burglary as a sexually motivated felony, 1st degree rape, and 1st degree criminal sexual act.
Police say the victim did not know Sinkler.
Sinkler was sent back to Schenectady Count Jail without bail. He is due back in court in September.
