SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A ribbon cutting was held on Wednesday to mark the official opening of the new casino hotel.
It was formerly known as the Saratoga Raceway and Casino. Now rebranded and expanded, the 117-room hotel includes a grand ballroom, fitness center, outdoor terrace, and more than 3,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space.
“This project really solidifies our place as a top entertainment destination in the region,” Rita Cox with Saratoga Gaming and Raceway said. “We are now a place to go away for the weekend or a staycation and another way to help the CVB and local chambers bring visitors in from all over the Northeast.”
The project renovations and rebranding began in May 2015 as Saratoga prepares to compete with the upcoming Rivers Casino and Resort in Schenectady.
