LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – 600 people will drive up to the Adirondacks for a big hike-a-thon. It’s the annual hike-a-thon in the hills around Lake George.
It happens every 5th of July. The first was put on by the Lake George land conservancy in 2013 to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The event is designed to highlight the Lake George land conservancy’s many parks and preserves surrounding the lake.
Hikes at 14 different sites will go on at the same time.
