GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The man accused of following women and children in local stores has been arrested before.
Guilderland Police arrested Gerald Garrity in 2013 at the Crossgates Mall for exposing himself and endangering the welfare of a child.
Garrity was arraigned Thursday in Colonie on multiple counts of endangering the welfare of a child and harassment and one count of public lewdness.
Police say this all took place in June at the Northway Mall Target and Wolf Road Hannaford.
Garrity is already facing similar charges in Saratoga after police say he followed a mother and her children in a Clifton Park Target.
Anyone who thinks they have been followed or harassed by Garrity is asked to contact police.
