Ceremony being held to replace burned Pride flag at the Damien Center

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A Pride flag dedication is taking place to replace the one that was burned at the Damien Center last week.

The incident is being investigated as a hate crime by the Albany Police Department.

The public ceremony will give the community a chance to unite against hate and discrimination toward the LGBT and HIV community.

The event begins at 7 p.m. On the front lawn of the church on Western Avenue.
