ORLANDO, Fla. (NEWS10) – According to a Inside the Magic, Walt Disney World is removing reptile jokes and characters from rides and attractions after an alligator grabbed and killed a 2-year-old boy last week.

Changes were made to the script of the popular Jungle Cruise attraction at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. The Daily Mail reports that Peter Pan’s Tick Toc Croc no longer appears in the Festival of Fantasy parade and the Kilimanjaro Safari no longer mentions alligators.

Divers found the body of Lane Graves 16 hours after authorities got the call that an alligator snatched the boy at the Seven Seas Lagoon.

The family laid Lane to rest this week.

In addition to the changes to the rides, Disney has placed warning signs alerting the public of the dangers of alligators.
