(NEWS10) – Former Glens Falls High School and BYU basketball star Jimmer Fredette will get another chance to fulfill his dream of playing in the NBA.
A source has told News10ABC’s Josh Rultenberg that Fredette will be working out for the Minnesota Timberwolves Saturday and Sunday. He will also play for the Denver Nuggets in the Las Vegas Summer League.
Jimmer started and finished this season with the Westchester Knicks, the D-League team of the NBA’s New York Knicks.
Back in February, Fredette signed a 10-day contract and that was the only taste he had of the association.
Jimmer has struggled to keep a permanent home in the NBA since being drafted by the Sacramento Kings back in 2011.
