GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Environmental activist Erin Brockovich congratulated Hoosick Falls residents on legislative win in a Facebook post Friday.
Erin Brockovich met with many residents in February to discuss water contamination issues. This comes after the New York State Senate unanimously approved a bill that allows Hoosick Falls residents to sue polluters responsible for their injuries for up to three years after being designated a Superfund site.
The bill now heads to Governor Andrew Cuomo for his signature.
