ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) – I don’t know who this guy is but this is one of the realest costumes.
“What’s going on? How are you?” said Spiderman Noir.
The Albany Comic Con is the premiere comic book and collectibles show in upstate New York. The show featured comic books, action figures, t-shirts, and everyone’s favorite Cosplay.
“The 1920’s version of Spiderman, fantastic storybook arc, and comic book arc. Gotta love it,” said Spiderman Noir.
The Capital Region’s best comic dealers and most knowledgeable professionals all combined to create a full-blown convention. Some vendors are stores and others are single person shows.
But in the comic world, the passion for imagination makes everyone equal.
“At this point, I’ve done action figures for DC Comics and Marvel,” said sculptor Paul Harding.
News10ABC reporter Jimmy Marlow asked Paul how long does it take to make an action figure and Paul said “It should take about three weeks but every project is different though”.
“For the young kids it helps them in their reading and comprehension. It helps them open put their imagination and also it shows them that like I said to you before, that the world is not just a click away like with the computer and video games. They can actually read the comics and enjoy them,” said Matthew Belskis, who has been a comic book expert for over 40 years.
