Police investigate Glens Falls National Bank robbery in Fort Edward

FORT EDWARD, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police are seeking a suspect in a bank robbery in Fort Edward.

Just after 4:20 p.m. Thursday, a robbery occurred at the Glens Falls National Bank in the Village of Fort Edward.

According to police, a suspect entered the bank and provided a note to the teller that indicated he had a gun and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money.

He then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’8” tall. He was wearing black sweat pants, white T-shirt, white flat brim hat with unknown design, and carrying a gray sweatshirt.
