SCHODACK, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say two men were arrested for allegedly driving around with over 20 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms and nearly 60 grams of marijuana.
Police say they stopped a vehicle on I-90 at Exit B1 for a traffic violation after 1 a.m. on June 1.
The driver of the vehicle, 24-year-old Kevin Fahrenkopf and his passenger 25-year-old Anthony Luciana, both of Raleigh, North Carolina were found to be in possession of approximately 22 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms and approximately 58 grams of marijuana.
Fahrenkopf and Luciana were taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Albany, where they were each charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree; a Class B Felony and Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 4th Degree; a Class A Misdemeanor.
They were arraigned before the Town of Schodack Court where they each posted $500 cash bail. They are to reappear on June 1, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.
