COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say they’ve arrested a Troy man for allegedly shooting a gun at his ex-girlfriend.
Authorities say on May 11, police received a complaint from a female that her ex-boyfriend had pointed a handgun at her and fired a shot into her car’s front bumper at 3:40 a.m. on May 7 in a parking lot on Loudon Road.
The ex-boyfriend, Tyrone Marshall, 34 of Troy turned himself in on Thursday night. He was arrested and then arraigned in Colonie Justice Court. Police say he was remanded to Albany County Correctional Facility without bail and his case is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on a later date.
The handgun has not been recovered and is only described as being small and silver.
Marshall is being charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Reckless Endangerment and Criminal Mischief in the third, all felonies. He’s also been charged with Menacing in the second degree.
