QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A man has pleaded guilty to shooting a cat five times with a pellet gun last October.
James Weyrauch was sentenced to six months behind bars. He has already been released after serving that time in jail.
The cat had to be put down because one of the bullets was lodged near the cat’s spine.
Weyrauch remains on probation in Illinois, where he now lives. He is also ordered to pay restitution.
