Former corrections officer accused of having inappropriate relationships with female inmates

BEDFORD, N.Y. (NEWS10) – New York State Police say they arrested a former corrections officer at the Taconic Correctional Facility for having an inappropriate relationship with two inmates.

Following a 10 month investigation, Daniel Oliver, 49, of Ballston Spa, N.Y., is charged with official misconduct.

Oliver was arraigned in the Town of Bedford and was released after posting $200 bail. He is due back in court at the end of June.

New York State Police were assisted by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations.
