SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A man accused of sexually abusing two women and keeping two others against their will is behind bars.
Police said 26-year-old Kaseem Dopwell, of Rensselaer, sexually abused a woman in July 2015 and didn’t allow her to leave the room. He was charged with Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, Sex Abuse in the First Degree, Assault in the Third Degree, and Unlawful Imprisonment.
He was charged but skipped court. Police said while on the run, he held a woman against her will in the Clearview Motel and hurt her ankle in the process. He was then also charged with Rape in the First Degree and Unlawful Imprisonment.
Dopwell is in jail on $50,000 bail.
