Two men arrested in Albany after home invasion, robbery

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Two Albany men are in custody following a robbery at a home that occurred on Lark Street.

Police say 20-year-old Omar Rogers and 21-year-old Quron Tallie were both arrested following an investigation by members of the Albany Police Department.

They say on Friday, May 6 just before 11 p.m. Rogers and Tallie allegedly forced their way into an occupied home on the 100 block of Lark Street armed with what appeared to be firearms and demanded property from the victim.

The victim complied and both suspects fled the scene with the victim’s cell phone and an undetermined amount of cash.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Rogers was charged with Robbery 1st, Burglary 1st and Resisting Arrest. Tallie was charged with Robbery 1st and Burglary 1st.

Both men were arraigned in the Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
