SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police have made a third arrest in connection with a shooting Sunday afternoon, but this one was the victim.
Schenectady Police say Carvell Griffin intentionally rammed his car into the two other suspects with the intent to cause serious physical injury. They say that’s when he was shot.
Griffin is charged with 1st degree attempted assault.
Two other suspects, Khalik Martin and Sharon Womack, were arrested on Sunday.
Martin faces charges of attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and menacing. Womack is charged with hindering the prosecution after police say she drove Martin away from the scene.
Griffin is currently being held in Albany Medical Center awaiting arraignment.
