ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The lockout for the Mohonasen Central School District has been lifted.
The district says officials and police determined that an unspecified threat found on the Draper Middle School track was not credible. Normal activities have resumed.
Outdoors activities will continue as planned with increased supervision.
The lockout was placed after two students in a physical education class reported the threat to a teacher at around 9:50 a.m.
Police were immediately notified and are conducting an investigation.
The school district says the lockout went in affect as an abundance of caution.
