CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – One residence in Cambridge was the buzz of the town on Saturday.

Police say tens of thousands of bees landed in a tree outside of a residence on St. Lukes Place.

Witnesses described the swarm of bees as sounding like a loud weed eater and appearing as a black cloud.

The Cambridge-Greenwich Police Department responded and called a beekeeper to deal with the swarm of bees. The Village bee keeper Travis Kline arrived and spent a few hours getting the bees from the tree and into a new hive.
