Two men taken into custody after Sunday night stabbing in Troy

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) –Troy Police say they’ve arrested two people after a Sunday night stabbing that left one man with minor injuries and another with a laceration.

Officials arrested 21-year-old Trevon McBee of Hoosick Falls and 22-year-old Isaiah Lee Bridges of Troy for endangering the welfare of a child among other charges.

Police say one of the victims was treated and transported by Troy Fire Department to a local hospital. He is doing better and did not sustain any life threatening injuries.

They claim it all began around 8:40 p.m. Sunday night just north of 3rd street and Ida street. The victim was followed home by two men that were known to him and they began to physically assault him.

A relative of the victim came to his aid and was also assaulted and then stabbed with a knife.

Police were en route to the call and quickly captured both suspects after a brief foot pursuit.

The suspects were transported to the Police Station for processing and are being held.

They were arraigned in Troy City Court.
