Fire heavily damages historic NYC church

NEW YORK (NEWS10) — A historic church in New York City has been destroyed by fire.

The fire started Sunday at the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Sava in Manhattan.

One minor injury has been reported.

The fire completely destroyed the roof of the gothic revival style building that was built in the early 1850s.

As of now it is not clear what started the fire.
