(NEWS10) – It’s a day most of us will never forget.
Sunday marks the 5th anniversary of the day Osama Bin Laden was killed. President Obama spoke Sunday and recalled the raid that killed Bin Laden.
Obama said if he didn’t launch the raid, the U.S. may have never captured the most wanted man in the world that claimed so many American lives.
“If, in fact, we did not take the action that he might slip away. And it might be years before he resurfaced,” said Obama.
Bin Laden was killed in a U.S. Special Forces raid on his compound in Pakistan.
