PITTSFIELD, NY (NEWS10) – Pittsfield Police responded to the area of Center St. near Union St. for a report of a shot fired at around 1:38 a.m. Saturday morning.
A short time later, Dispatch received a call from a male stating that he was shot. A 24-year-old black male was quickly found with an abdominal wound and treated by officers until EMS arrived.
Once in the care of EMS, the Pittsfield man declined to provide any more information to officers. The man left Berkshire Medical Center against medical advice and his injuries would appear to be non-life threatening.
Evidence of this shooting was found on Union St. to the West of Center St. by Pittsfield Police Crime Scene Services.
