GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say they’ve made a drug bust in the city of Gloversville.
According to officials on Tuesday, April 19 at 6:00 a.m., authorities executed search warrants at both the upstairs and downstairs apartments at 7 Allen Street. The Johnstown Police Department assisted the Gloversville Police Department with the search of both apartments.
Police say the downstairs apartment was occupied by 33-year-old Stephen Blaney, who’s accused of selling heroin. The Gloversville Police Department had obtained a Superior Court Indictment Warrant for him. Police say Blaney was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third degree and two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.
Authorities say 34-year-old Bettina Etherton was also at the apartment. She was arrested on an outstanding Gloversville City Court Bench Warrant for an open dog violation case.
The upstairs apartment was occupied by 30-year-old Victor Roman and 31-year-old Amber Brooker. There were Superior Court Indictment Warrants for both of them as well. They are suspected of selling crack cocaine.
During the execution of the sear warrant, 3.9 grams of crack cocaine was located in the upstairs apartment. Police say Roman and Etherton were both charged with another count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.
Both were held on the additional charges, awaiting arraignment in County Court.
