ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Three people were taken to the hospital after a stabbing on Yates Avenue, including a 12-year-old boy. One suspect has been charged.
The incident took place just before 9 p.m. Tuesday on the 200-block of Yates Avenue in Albany.
The victims, a 61-year-old male, a 45-year-old female and a 12-year-old male were all treated at the scene by medical personnel for stab wounds and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect, Reginald Gill, 46 of Albany has been charged with three counts of Attempted Murder and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd. Shortly after the incident, Gill turned himself in at the Albany Police South Station where he was taken into custody. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday morning in Albany City Criminal Court.
Authorities didn’t identify the suspect and didn’t say what the relationship is between the suspect and victims.
