NORTH GREENBUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say a North Greenbush man is being charged with Felony DWI after he was allegedly caught driving home drunk from his birthday party.
Police say they pulled over a car on Snyders Corners Road in the Town of Poestenkill and began an investigation.
State Police in Sand Lake arrested 37-year-old Robert Williams of North Greenbush for Felony DWI after he was stopped for failure to keep right, while on his way home from celebrating his birthday. Police say Williams was also charged with Felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the first degree and no seatbelt.
Williams refused to submit to a breathalyzer test and was processed at the State Police Barracks in Sand Lake.
Williams was arraigned in the Town of Poestenkill Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail on $3,000 cash/bond. He’s scheduled back in court on a later date.
