SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A federal indictment has been issued in connection to the Schenectady arson that critically burned a little girl and killed her family.
The superseding indictment against 28-year-old Jennica Duell charges her with Perjury about events leading up to the 2013 house fire on Hulett Street. The fire killed Safyre Terry’s father, David Terry, and his three other children.
Duell is in jail awaiting trial on previous perjury charges.
The new indictment says Duell lied about where she was the night of the fire and about who obtained gasoline to start the fire.
Her trial is scheduled for mid-May.
