TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – One attendee at the Hillary Clinton rally was a local business owner who knows the presidential candidate personally.
Rocco DeFazio first met Clinton when she was a New York senator. She praised DeFazio’s Pizzeria for their efforts in supporting the Little Italy section of Troy. They’ve been in touch ever since.
Her campaign called DeFazio on Sunday to make sure he was going to be at the rally.
“She’s been here four times, and for us, actions speak louder than words,” DeFazio’s son Matthew DeFazio said. “And every time she’s come, she’s been so kind. It goes back to my grandparents who started the import store when they were alive and just seeing her interact with them. She’s called multiple times.”
