BETHLEHEM, N.Y. – Police say they’ve arrested two men accused of having a loaded .22 caliber hand gun, stun gun and marijuana.
Authorities say on March 29 just after 2:30 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for multiple traffic violations. The driver, 30-year-old Derrick Priest of Saint Pauls, North Carolina was found to be in possession of a Stun Gun and marijuana. His passenger, 41-year-old Marco Stocks, also of N.C. was found to be in possession of a loaded .22 caliber hand gun.
Police say both men were taken into custody and transported to SP Albany.
Priest was subsequently charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the fourth degree, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; a Violation and Multiple Vehicle and Traffic Violations. He was arraigned before the Town of Bethlehem Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $3000 cash bail or bond.
Stocks was subsequently charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree; a Class C Felony. Stocks was arraigned before the Town of Bethlehem Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail without bail.
