TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Troy man was stabbed in the head and chest during a fight with four males.
Police said the fight took place around 1:05 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Division Street and Fourth Street. The fight ended with the 27-year-old victim sustaining stab wounds to his head and chest.
The victim left the scene with a friend and went to Washington and Hill Street to call for help while the other two suspects ran west on Division Street. The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center for further treatment.
His injuries are not considered life threatening.
Police continue to investigate. They do not believe the stabbing was a random act.
