GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. (NEWS10) – The Eagleton School in Great Barrington where employees were accused of physical and emotional abuse, is no longer accepting new students.
They posted the update on their website.
The school is a year-round private treatment facility for boys with developmental and behavioral disorders.
Five staff members were fired after coming under investigation accused of abusing students. Then in early march, the school was placed on probation and announced their status had changed from “full approval” to “probationary approval.”
Three of the five suspects pleaded not guilty to assault and battery charges in court earlier this month.
