NEW YORK (NEWS10) – 84 alleged gang members have been taken off the streets in New York City according to Police Commissioner William Bratton.
Police said the gang members are connected to 22 shootings and a flow of deadly drugs into New England.
They’re facing a slew of drug and weapons related charges. Police said they preyed on countless addicted users in Massachusetts and as far north as New Hampshire.
Police uncovered large amounts of Cocaine, Heroin, dangerous Opiates, and about $260,000 in cash.
Police said they would sell the drugs in New England for four times the street value in NY and then return to the city with guns.
