TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Campbell Avenue in Troy reopened to regular traffic on Thursday.
Traffic was reopened at 9 a.m. Traffic restrictions associated with repair operations have also ended.
The road collapsed on February 21.
Authorities said it collapsed due to sewer line problems. Repair work to the pipes was completed on March 3.
The city said the affected section of Campbell Avenue will be closed again during the month of April while crews reinstall a concrete and blacktop surface over the excavated area of roadway.
Exact dates of the closure and road work have yet to be announced.
