Portion of Campbell Avenue in Troy remains closed

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A portion of Campbell Avenue in Troy remains closed after part of the road collapsed over one week ago.

Some business owners expected the road to reopen over the weekend.

Authorities said the road collapsed due to sewer line problems. Repair work to the pipes was completed on Friday, but the road remains closed.

An exact date for when it will reopen is unknown at this time.

The city said the Department of Public Utilities and National Grid are working together to handle some underground rewiring.
