WILTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A young woman is missing out of Saratoga County, and police are asking the public for help in locating her.
Christine Lee was reported missing by her mother from her mother’s home in the Town of Wilton in the early morning of March 4.
Police said the 20-year-old was improperly dressed for the weather. They said she was only wearing pajama pants and no footwear. She was also without a cell phone.
Lee is described as a white female, 5’9”, and weighs 135 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She recently cut about one inch to two inches in length from her hair. An updated picture is not available.
“She’s a local girl,” Saratoga County Lt. Jeff Brown said. “She definitely has a lot of friends and certainly could be in the area locally, so we are getting the photo out and getting the name out there hoping that somebody calls and says, ‘Yeah, she’s at our house,’ and we can just check her welfare and that’s all.”
Police said she appeared to be under the influence of narcotics when she left her mother’s home and may be in need of medical assistance.
She is also known to frequent the Allen Drive area of Saratoga Springs.
The search for Lee continues. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (518) 885-6761.
