ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The man accused of killing the son of a former NFL player in Watervliet was back in Albany County Court Monday for arraignment.
Officials say 49-year-old Michael Fox of Watervliet, was arraigned on one count of Murder in the Second Degree, a Class A-1 Felony, and one Count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, a Class B Felony,
Officials say on January 8 near 4th Avenue in the City of Watervliet Fox allegedly killed his neighbor, 29-year-old Brandon Sherwin, by shooting him with a shotgun and stabbing him. It is additionally alleged that Fox did attempt to kill of a female known to him by means of shooting at her with a shotgun. The female was not injured during the alleged crime.
Fox pleaded not guilty to the charges Monday and was remanded into custody without bail.
