NEW YORK (AP) — A Staten Island family has been searching for a missing dog that’s helped a 5-year-old cope with a rare medical condition.
The Staten Island Advance says a lot of good Samaritans have also been looking for Charlie.
Linda Labetti says the little white Maltese disappeared from her home on Feb. 6. Her grandson, Roman, has endured more than 20 surgeries for a condition that limits his physical movement. Labetti says Roman keeps asking when Charlie’s coming back.
